30 June 2008

It has been a little while since my last blog, and in this time soo much has happened, I really don't know where to start, so I don't think I will even try!

School holidays again, which means 2 weeks of nothing! this may sound like a waste of time to some, but when you are a mother of 4 and 3 of the kids do sooo much sport there is alot of running around to do, so school holidays is a time where I can sit back and relax!! These holidays we are staying home, as we always do this time of year (it's winter and it's cold and I HATE the cold)

Some might think that I am having an "affair" with my Dr at the moment, as Brandon has a hole in his ear drum, we are having to see the DR every day.

Right at this moment, 2 boys are playing starwar on the xbox 360, and the sound of them laughing is echoing through the house, 1 daughter is in her room making ear rings and necklaces, while the other daughter sleeps. For me this means coffee time and a chance to catch up with all my online friends.

Have a happy day

Out of the mouth of kids............

Just like I do everyother day, I was taking the kids to swimming training, when a song came on the radio from one of those "boy bands" from a few years ago, well Brandon had no ideas of the words to that song, but liked the music, so out of nowhere he decided to put his own words to the music! It was short, didn't make much sence at times, but hey, he didn't care!

She's 5 foot 10 with brown eyes and hair
Everyone can see this mum is mine!
I make her so mad at times,
that she yells at me,
but that's OK because I love her so!
I don't want her to leave me
I don't want her to forget me
I lover her so!

When I heard him sing, it brought a smile to my face. These are the things about being a parent that no one told you about, and that are moment in times that I will never forget!!

Well maybe our song from yesterday could be the start of something :) (I could only dream that my boy could support me in my old age)

With love

Out of all my children, Charlotte has a special "thing" for my dad, and just like Brandon, spends hours following him around! While Brandon is now old enough to help grandpa do things, this was a project that grandpa did all on his own for his love of Charlotte.

who does this belong too?

If only I had taken a before shot, you would of been able to see just how much work he has done. The toy box use to be bright green and yellow with seahorse, star fish and fish all over it, and with me being a colour co-ordinating freak, it just didn't go in Charlottes room! With dad being a handy man, could soon fix that! With a bit of left over paint and a few stencils I think the end results turned out OK!
It looks so much more better in real life and my problem now is that it looks so good I do not want to use it!

The first!

Well here it is, the first of many boring posts about my life!! My life really isn't that exciting, and for some, doing the same thing day in day out would send them crazy!! And that is were my title comes from me-I can't go crazy, I'm already there.

So where do I start........................................

I first met Dean, my DH at the age of 15, (not that he met me) but it was not until I was 17 that we made it more. A few months later we broke up, I found out I was pg and we stayed friends. I ended up having our daughter, Kimberley and a few months after she was born, we were back together. So now 13 years later and 4 kids later we are married and raising our children, Kimberley, Brandon, Callum and Charlotte.

Raising 4 very active kids, there is not alot of time for me, but that is the life I wanted, and that is the life I have. There are many things in life I would love, own my own home, have investment, but I have given that all up to have the one thing that matters more than money, more than my life, my children!! I am not a perfect person, but to them I am, and that is what I so dearly love about them.
